After yesterday’s 2-hour Mass and concert, many students had a lot to say about the experience. While sitting for that long was a challenge for some, most enjoyed it for DeMatha’s band and choir programs. Many students didn’t realize how talented the musicians were until they heard the performance. The band sounded amazing, and the choir’s amazing voices were great as well leaving an impression on the students. One of the biggest surprises for many students was seeing Father join in with the choir. It shows how the DeMatha community is united not just in athletics, but also in music and faith. This surprising moment made the concert feel even more special and connected everyone in the convocation center.
