DeMatha will be buying books back from its students during final exam season. It’s all part of the school’s plan to provide textbooks to students next school year.
The Book Buy-Back App is an upcoming tool that will allow students to not have to buy books next year. The purpose of the whole process is that it allows students to trade in old schoolbooks for a Stag Store credit or school lunch credit. “How this is put into motion is you fill out the Google form sent to all students and you fill out all personal information,” Mrs. Stockton said. “Then you are going to select the credit you want in return and the books you need.”
The underclassmen will give and return books in the McMahon library later this month during their final exam week. Seniors will do so this week in the front entrance. The school hopes this function will help solve many problems and allow DeMatha to run more smoothly at the beginning of the school year when students often have to wait for their purchased books to arrive.
