On Friday December 20, DeMatha will have its last day of school before letting out for Christmas break. Students will return to school January 6, 2025 rested and ready to learn after spending two weeks celebrating the holidays with their families.
This is a very sought after break. As well as Christmas occurring over the break, it’s two weeks for students to be at home to rest and rejuvenate to come back to school during the new year even better than the previous.
Students typically plan to spend time with their family and friends over break. Junior Ronin Fogarty says he is “just going to see some family in Pennsylvania.” Fogarty expresses his eagerness as he says, “I’m super excited for this break.”
Like Fogarty, fellow junior Robert Reeser is “excited for Christmas break.” Reeser also plans to travel to see family. “I’m going to be going to Ohio to spend time with friends and my grandparents and cousins.”
Christmas is a time that students at DeMatha take to spend time with their families.
