With the NBA Draft coming in a month the draft lottery has been set and there was some major changes during the draft lottery. Leading the pack is Duke’s Cooper Flagg, a 6’9″ forward who is known for his elite two-way skills. Flagg’s peerless shot-blocking, defensive flexibility, and developing offense establish him as the No. 1 prospect by consensus. Right behind is Rutgers’ Dylan Harper, a 6’6″ guard with a polished playmaking skillset and scoring ability reminiscent of Cade Cunningham. Behind them are Rutgers’ Ace Bailey, an explosive wing, and Texas’ Tre Johnson, a three-level shotmaker. The 2025 NBA Draft will feature a highly competitive lottery, as teams around the league look to get the most promising prospects to rebuild their futures. The bottom team in the standings is the Utah Jazz, and they have the best opportunity at the No. 1 pick with which they would likely select Duke’s Cooper Flagg, a skilled forward whose all-around game sees him highly coveted. The Washington Wizards and Charlotte Hornets also have good chances at the first pick, with a 14% chance each. Other teams with claims include the Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, and New Orleans Pelicans, all with significant assets and needs that can match the draft’s best prospects. With the draft on the horizon, these teams are going to take advantage of the opportunity to pick make-or-break players that can contribute immediately and look to the future. Senior Mikael Desta I believe that the nba draft lottery is rigged. It’s honestly hilarious how the nba thinks the fans are this stupid that the Mavs just suddenly trade away a generational talent and get the number 1 pick back. Just ridiculous In terms of prospects I really like vj edgecomb. Reminds a lot of a smaller Thompson twin and shows a ton of promise as a rim protector.
