The 1st quarter of the school year is almost near the end. Grades are pouring in and for freshmen this will be their first 1st quarter in high school.
Sophomore Ryan Culfogienis says, “The first quarter is always the hardest in my opinion; it is tough getting back into the swing of things.”
Grades are highly important for freshmen as it may determine what their attitude is for school. It is also an opportunity for upperclassmen with good grades to apply for the NHS (National Honors Society), a pillar and important part of the DeMatha community.
Sophomore Sam Chappell wants to join the NHS. “I think its a great organization at DeMatha and I’m very interested in helping out this great community.”
Hopefully all Stags here at DeMatha end this quarter on a high note, not just physically with grades but mentally with building friendships and strengthening the Brotherhood.
GO STAGS!
