Dyson is a sophomore at DeMatha Catholic High School. One of his favorite writing assignments so far in his time at DeMatha came from a prompt in his freshman history class asking him where he would go if he could time travel.

Dyson plays soccer at DeMatha and will be trying out for the basketball team this fall. He is also a member of DeMatha's Investment Club.
