Matthew is a sophomore at DeMatha Catholic High School. One of his favorite writing assignments from his freshman year was writing the Constitution for his own nation.

In eighth grade, Matthew wrote for his middle school newspaper. Matthew plays hockey and baseball at DeMatha.
