Mr. Puffett teaches print and broadcast journalism at DeMatha, is the play-by-play announcer for our varsity football and basketball teams, and is our head cross country coach.

A PG County native, Mr. Puffett has deep roots in the area and especially within the DeMatha community. Additionally, he is the co-host of a weekly sports podcast and enjoys writing, himself.

Mr. Puffett is very excited to bring back The DeMatha Stagline in an online format so our students can publish their work for the DeMatha community.
