NFL FREE AGENCY

While this is the only downtime for players in the NFL it is the start of the season for The front office of these teams. NFL Free agency is the most hectic time of the year as we see players get life changing deals and opportunities with new teams. Every Year there has been some blockbuster moves in free agency and these are some of the moves that have happened so far. Stefon Diggs, a talented Wide Receiver that is coming off of a season ending injury with the Houston Texans has signed a 3 year 69 million dollar deal with a rebuilding New England Patriots team that has a new staff and a promising young quarterback by the name of Drake Maye. One of the blockbuster trades one this NFL free agency was Left Tackle Laremy Tunsil, an all pro player  was traded to the Washington Commanders for a package of draft picks. Dematha is known for some of the best sports in the country and some people from the school have some thoughts on NFL Free agency. Devon Bertrand a senior says this about his favorite team the cowboys” I believe that the cowboys didn’t capitalize this free agency picking up former first round guys who were bust and in such a competitive division with eagles and commanders and giants who have made moves. Also senior Tyler Ellis says this” I think the 2025 free agency period was very shocking and filled with surprise. In my opinion I think Sam Darnold signing with the Seahawks was the most shocking free agency move. But I also think Deebo Samuel going to the Commanders was a great move. It will help out the young star quarterback Jayden Daniels and Washington will finally have there great receiving core they’ve been looking for these past few years. The NFL free agency is also special but this one will be one to remember for a while.
