Darian Simpkins, Staff Writer
Darian is a senior at DeMatha Catholic High School. He has been on the varsity football team for three years after never playing before high school.
Outside of school, Darian regularly gives back to the community by doing service projects. He helps his mom give out food to a homeless shelter every year on Christmas and gives out items of high demand like soap and socks during the fall and winter.
In his free time, Darian also loves to watch movies and play video games, like Call of Duty and NBA 2K. He is originally from Maryland but has lived in other places like North Carolina and Virginia, as well. Darian’s favorite sports teams are the Washington Wizards and the Washington Commanders.
