The community of DeMatha has created a new building, and with its creation new classes can be held inside of it. Classes like art, engineering, and robotics are no longer in beat-up rooms; they’ll take place in a whole new environment.
This is not the only change that will come to DeMatha, this is just the start. When the new room was blessed at the start of the year, you could tell it was nearly finished. Now that it’s complete, many people enjoy it. Some people noticed that the heater works extremely well and others just like the design it brings to the campus as a whole.
The move from the old building to the new one has been swift and will be complete after a room inspection. After being in the room for about a week, sophomore Brady Wallace talked about how it was worth the wait. The period of anticipation has been rewarded for people like him and fellow sophomore Solomon Adeyemi who said, “Honestly, I still can’t believe we are able to use this space.”
Many more things are coming to DeMatha. The lunchroom will be expanded and is getting a new look. Still other things could be going on in the background.
Teachers like Mr. Roberts are also excited about the change. DeMatha is about to look very different than before.
